Sponsor an Education

Education is the backbone to development. Knowledge and skills help people understand themselves and the world they live in, make decisions about their lives, think for themselves, and broaden their horizons.

We establish community-based schools to give girls a quality non-formal education including computer-based vocational training. Each school accommodates up to 60 under-privileged girls. Classes are divided into preliminary and secondary. Students learn Bengali, English and mathematics. After three years they receive a Primary School Certificate which enables admission into high school. Books and other educational materials are provided free of charge.
We wish to reach as many girls as possible to give them the opportunity to live more empowered lives and you are invited to help us.
You can make a significant difference

You can make a significant difference in the lives of Bangladeshi girls by becoming a sponsor for our community Tulip School Centre or a high school level student.

How much does it cost?

The cost for sponsoring a Tulip School Centre varies between Euro 500 and 600 per year. The cost for sponsoring a student varies between 170 and 200 per year.

Or you may wish sponsor a Vocational Training Course for Girls, which will benefit 30 girls (costs euro 100 per event).
How will you benefit?

We will send you regular updates about the progress of the individual(s) or school or course you sponsor, including photos and any stories by the students. Naturally, you are always welcome to visit the student or school or talk to them via the phone.
